Kaiser Reef Limited (ASX: KAU) has reported positive results from an infill soil sampling program at its Maldon gold project in Victoria. The survey, which covered 2.7 square kilometres of previously unsampled terrain, has delineated strong, contiguous gold and arsenic anomalies along multiple north-south structures. These findings confirm the prospectivity across the project’s entire 4.4-kilometre strike length on the company's mining lease, providing a clear path for upcoming exploration efforts.

The geochemical program yielded several notable results, including a peak soil sample of 2.7 grams per tonne gold, supplemented by four additional samples exceeding 1 gram per tonne. These anomalies, particularly those along the Cumberland, North of England, and Sailors trends, are now being evaluated for immediate drill testing. Kaiser Reef is currently prioritising and permitting these specific targets to ensure the project is ready for a potential drilling campaign.

To further refine these zones, the company has scheduled an airborne magnetic survey for the first week of August 2026. This helicopter-borne geophysical program will provide high-resolution data to overlay with the recent soil geochemistry. Management expects the integration of these two datasets will be critical for identifying cross-structures that intersect the primary north-south gold reefs, which may hold significant mineralisation potential.

By combining modern, close-spaced surface sampling with upcoming geophysics, the company is systematically working to advance Maldon. The focus remains on establishing a reliable pipeline of drill-ready targets within the historically significant goldfield. As the permitting process advances in parallel with these technical studies, the exploration team is looking to bridge the gap between initial geochemical anomalies and definitive subsurface testing.
