Kaiser Reef Limited has commenced underground diamond drilling at the Union Hill Gold Mine, part of the Maldon Gold Project in Victoria.

New development allows improved targeting north of the existing workings. The first phase of underground drilling will target Linscott's and Eaglehawk mineralisation, with drilling of the Ladies Reef to follow and planning underway for additional targets. The program is expected to continue on an ongoing basis subject to results and operates as a day-shift-only schedule to manage spend.

The underground program complements the current surface diamond drilling campaign comprising approximately 4,350 metres across four targets, which is expected to continue throughout the remainder of 2026. Managing Director Brad Valiukas noted the operational significance of the subterranean access.

"Drilling from underground is crucial to the project, allowing Kaiser the access, drill positions and drilling angles required to optimally target the multiple reef structures at Maldon. Commencing underground drilling at Maldon is another important milestone for Kaiser , and a credit to our team for the progress made."

Union Hill is supported by a fully permitted and operating processing plant and mining lease, with the existing decline facilitating exploration and providing potential for future production.
