Kalamazoo Secures 15km Corridor in Mt Piper Expansion
Kalamazoo Resources Limited has consolidated a 1,574-square-kilometre exploration footprint at the Mt Piper Gold-Antimony Project in Central Victoria, bolstered by new tenement grants that secure continuous coverage over a 15-kilometre structural corridor.
The newly granted tenure at Seymour and Hughes Creek extends the company's holdings across an underexplored part of the regional gold and antimony province, linking existing targets including Whiteheads Hill. First-pass reconnaissance aircore drilling totalling 328 metres across 15 holes at Whiteheads Hill returned peak values of up to 155 parts per million antimony and 68 parts per billion gold within a broader anomalous interval.
While the early-stage drill results remain sub-economic, they confirm an in-situ hydrothermal system associated with a west-dipping structure along the interpreted corridor. The broader project area sits less than 100 kilometres from central Melbourne and operates alongside established mineral systems in the region.

Kalamazoo positions Mt Piper as a longer-term discovery platform alongside its primary development focus at the Ashburton Gold Project in Western Australia. To advance the Victorian holdings, the exploration team will integrate hyperspectral imagery, high-resolution airborne gravity gradiometry, geochemistry and structural interpretation to prioritise a pipeline of targets for staged drill testing.
