KalGold Secures A$3.4M For Pinjin Drilling
Kalgoorlie Gold Mining Limited has secured firm commitments to raise approximately A$2.3 million via a single-tranche institutional placement and launched a fully underwritten pro-rata entitlement offer to raise an additional A$1.1 million, directing approximately A$3.4 million in total funding toward exploration at the Pinjin Gold Project in Western Australia.
The placement shares and entitlement offer are priced at $0.02 per new share, representing a 13.0% discount to the last close price. Stralis Capital Partners Pty Limited and Lazarus Advisory Pty Ltd acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners for the placement, with Stralis fully underwriting the entitlement offer.
The proceeds will primarily accelerate exploration across the Pinjin project area, with a specific focus on drill testing new targets defined by recent reverse circulation drilling at the Lighthorse discovery. KalGold has previously completed multiple drilling campaigns at Lighthorse, including a 19-hole program finalized in August 2026.
Additional work programs are already scheduled for the project area. An aircore drill program testing the Rebecca Sequence rock package is slated for late September to early October 2026, followed by follow-up reverse circulation drilling to evaluate new targets at Lighthorse.
Settlement of the new shares under the placement is scheduled for Thursday, 17 September 2026. Eligible shareholders can participate in the 1-for-10 entitlement offer before it closes at 5:00 pm Sydney time on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.
"We are extremely pleased with the strong response received from the Placement. Strategic investors have recognised the potential that KalGold is defining at Pinjin, and this raising will enable the Company to continue to advance discovery at Lighthorse and throughout the greater Pinjin Gold Project area," said Matt Painter, Managing Director and CEO.
"We are always mindful of the loyalty shown to the Company by our shareholders and so we are delighted to provide an Entitlement Offer that will provide an opportunity for those eligible to participate on the same terms as the Placement."
