Kalgoorlie Gold Mining Limited (ASX: KAL) has officially restarted Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at its Pinjin gold project in Western Australia. A rig mobilized to the site on July 24, 2026, to execute a program comprising up to 19 holes for a total of 3,200 meters. The drilling is specifically targeting the Lighthorse prospect, where the company aims to conduct systematic infill and extensional drilling. This phase is designed to tighten drill spacing to approximately 50 by 40 meters across the most promising mineralized sections identified to date, while also testing the northern extension of a magnetometric conductivity anomaly that has shown a strong correlation with known gold mineralization.

Simultaneous to the RC work, the company is continuing a first-pass aircore drilling program across the Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ) Flexure targets. Operations there are now over halfway complete, with approximately 140 holes drilled. The work has successfully delineated a boundary between intermediate, mafic, and ultramafic units to the west and a granitic sequence to the east, marked by significant structural indicators including quartz veining and shearing. While the average hole depth of 35 meters has proven shallower than initial estimates, the program remains within budget and is expected to conclude in the coming weeks.

Management is focused on maintaining momentum across these active exploration fronts as they work toward upcoming milestones. Beyond the active drilling, shareholders are awaiting updates from previous exploration efforts. The company previously completed an RC program at the Kirgella Gift and Providence prospects in late May, but the reporting of these assays has been delayed by extended turnaround times at the laboratories. These conditions are expected to improve soon, allowing for the disclosure of those pending results.

With the current RC program at Lighthorse expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, the company is positioning itself to evaluate the broader potential of its primary gold systems.
