Kalgoorlie Gold Mining intersects 28m at 1.15 g/t Au at Pinjin project
Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX: KAL) has intersected thick zones of shear-hosted gold mineralisation at the Kirgella Gift and Providence deposits within its Pinjin project in Western Australia. A 21-hole reverse circulation (RC) drill program, totalling 3,702 metres, returned notable results including an intercept of 28m at 1.15 g/t Au from 20 metres in hole KGRC26008. Other highlights include 13m at 1.54 g/t Au and 10m at 1.18 g/t Au, with several intervals demonstrating broad mineralised envelopes.
The program was designed to infill gaps and test extensions to the existing resource. Data from this drilling confirms that mineralisation remains open at depth and extends beyond the current footprint, providing the technical basis for a future update to the project's mineral resource estimate.
"The Kirgella Gift and Providence gold deposits continue to show strong potential, with infill and step out RC drilling extending the known footprint of gold mineralisation beyond the current MRE."
"These drill results form part of KalGold's broader systematic exploration strategy to assess the potential for significant gold deposits across the Pinjin region."

The company is currently integrating these results with existing datasets to plan follow-up exploration at both deposits. Meanwhile, operational activity remains ongoing at the broader project site, with aircore drilling currently underway at the Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ) Flexure target and additional RC drilling in progress at the Lighthorse prospect.
