Kincora Copper Limited has announced plans to undertake over 25,000 metres of air-core drilling across 17 targets at four projects in Central West New South Wales, backed by a sole-funded exploration budget of up to A$3 million.

The upcoming Spring and Summer field programs will comprise 340 holes targeting copper, gold, and critical minerals at the Nyngan West, Fairholme, Cowal East, and Trundle projects. Kincora operates a hybrid prospect generator model across its Lachlan Fold Belt portfolio, having previously secured over A$100 million in potential partner funding and upwards of A$10 million in partner-funded exploration since late 2024.

The company is funding the Australian field programs using existing cash reserves alongside ongoing proceeds from the US$10-million divestment of its Mongolian project portfolio. Project operator Kincora Copper Australia Pty Ltd also expanded its footprint by staking two new exploration and mining title applications near the Fairholme project between June and August 2026.

Drilling at Nyngan West is scheduled to be completed before the end of the year, while a next-generation quantum gravity survey by Atomionics Pte Ltd at the Cowal East project is slated to commence in November. Meanwhile, nearby regional activity includes high-grade copper-gold intersections reported by LinQ Minerals at its Gilmore project within the surrounding district in July 2026.
