King Copper Discovery Corp. has completed site visits with bidding contractors as it prepares to launch a fully funded diamond drilling campaign at the Colquemayo Copper Project in southern Peru.

The diamond drilling program has been expanded to 36,000 metres utilizing 40 drill platforms across 59 drill holes, following the recent approval of the project's Declaración de Impacto Ambiental permit. King Copper previously outlined a 15,000-metre program in October 2025.

The evaluation involves contractors with immediate rig availability and incorporates social management proposals covering local employment and community engagement. Technical teams have defined priority porphyry targets at Amata-Cairani, Coripuquio, and Yanarico following relogging and reinterpretation of approximately 20,000 metres of historical drilling across the 12-kilometre by 4-kilometre system.

King Copper holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the 6,600-hectare property, backed by $15 million in gross proceeds secured from a private placement closed in September 2025. The company is completing final pre-mobilization requirements ahead of drilling.
