Kingfisher Metals Appoints Jasper Bertisen to Board of Directors

Kingfisher Metals Corp. has appointed Jasper Bertisen as an independent, non-executive director, effective immediately.

Mr. Bertisen brings over 20 years of experience in mining private equity, corporate finance, and governance. He spent most of his career with Resource Capital Funds, serving on its Investment Committee, focusing on advancing projects through engineering, financing, and construction. Earlier, he worked in operations in Germany, Finland, Chile, and Australia.

He currently serves as a director of Collective Mining Ltd., ERDA Resource Opportunities Inc., and Endolith, Inc., alongside advisory roles and an adjunct professorship at the Colorado School of Mines, where he earned a Master of Science in Mineral Economics. He also holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Chris Beltgens is stepping down as a director to pursue other opportunities. Kingfisher has granted Mr. Bertisen 350,000 stock options exercisable at C$1.16 per share for five years, vesting over 24 months.

President and CEO Dustin Perry noted Mr. Bertisen's background will support the company as it advances its Golden Triangle portfolio. Kingfisher is continuing its 15,000-metre diamond drilling program at the HWY 37 Project through the fall season of 2026.
