High-Grade Copper Intercepts at Copper Blow
Kingfisher Mining (ASX: KFM) has reported wide, high-grade copper-gold intersections from its latest reverse circulation drilling program at the Broken Hill project in New South Wales. The results focus on the North Zone, where recent drilling confirmed the continuity of shallow, high-grade mineralisation. Key intercepts from the program include 26 metres at 2.57% copper and 0.75 g/t gold from 73 metres, alongside a broad near-surface hit of 43 metres at 1.32% copper and 0.32 g/t gold.
This drilling campaign successfully extended high-grade sulphide mineralisation by 50 metres toward a major cross-fault. The company noted that the results, particularly in the North Zone, indicate the presence of mineralised material outside currently recognized domains, which may improve the project’s overall growth potential.

The current data confirms that the mineralised shear zone retains significant width and strength at depth, supporting the potential for a large-scale system. These findings are currently being integrated into geological models to refine the interpretation of the 600-metre strike length identified previously. Kingfisher maintains a processing agreement with Broken Hill Mines for the use of nearby infrastructure, which provides a clear path toward potential future development as the project advances.
Looking ahead, the company is prioritizing several technical workstreams to maintain operational momentum. Management is now initiating the necessary planning and approvals for a targeted diamond drilling program. This work is specifically designed to provide the geological data required to generate a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the project. In parallel, the company will continue to review and prioritize undercover geophysical targets for testing in future exploration phases, while ongoing metallurgical assessment activities proceed to support the evaluation of the broader Copper Blow system.
