Kingsrose Mining Limited has covered 160 square kilometres of its planned 260-square-kilometre summer field programme at the Finnmark Project in northern Norway, with assay results expected in late 2026.

Since mobilising in late June, field teams have focused on geological mapping and detailed rock chip and soil geochemical sampling targeting magmatic copper-nickel-platinum group element mineralisation and orogenic gold systems. The work spans advanced targets within the Karasjok and Kautokeino Belts, building on nine clusters of high-priority conductive anomalies previously identified through airborne electromagnetic surveys across the Karasjok Central and Masi sections.

Field activities are supported by all 12 consulted Sámi reindeer herding districts following engagement with rightsholders and local contractors.

Norway's revised Minerals Act, which came into effect on 1 July 2026, extends existing exploration licences until 1 July 2029 under transitional provisions. This extension effectively resets the portfolio timeline and reduces annual tenure costs by up to A$400,000 per annum. Kingsrose is now advancing discussions with potential strategic joint venture partners to fund exploration across the project, while late 2026 assay results will support target refinement and winter ground geophysical surveys.
