Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. has received the complete analytical dataset from its diamond drilling campaign at the KL West project in Ontario, returning an intercept of 5.57 g/t gold over 1.13 metres at the Winnie Lake target area.

The campaign, completed on April 1, 2026, comprised 65 drill holes totaling 19,161.9 metres across 10 target areas and 9,616 original core samples. Integration of the analytical data with geological logging and regional geophysics has identified three distinct mineralizing systems across the property, including 38 holes intersecting signatures associated with intrusion-related gold systems and 27 holes intersecting polymetallic signatures associated with volcanogenic massive sulphide systems.

Additional gold composite intervals from the database include 1.41 g/t gold over 3.40 metres at Wolverine Bend in hole KLD26-79 and 1.87 g/t gold over 0.80 metres in hole KLD26-62. Winnie Lake represents the most advanced target area in the current dataset, returning the highest gold grade in the program alongside coincident intrusion-related and polymetallic signatures across 21 holes totaling 5,732.9 metres.

Kirkland Lake Discoveries acquired an exclusive four-year option to acquire a 100% interest in the Winnie Lake and Amikougami properties from Val-d'Or Mining Corporation in April 2025. The company subsequently raised gross proceeds of up to $7,000,000 through a private placement in September 2025, with lead orders from investors including Eric Sprott, Rob McEwen, and Crescat Capital.

“The importance of this program extends well beyond any single drill intersection,” said Stefan Sklepowicz, Chief Executive Officer of KLDC. “Our regional targets repeatedly intersected the same fertile hydrothermal signatures along kilometre-scale corridors, giving us a much clearer understanding of the mineralizing system across the property. We can now see where the system is distal, where it becomes more focused and where gold, copper and critical-metal associations coincide. This property-wide understanding provides a more predictive framework for ranking our next generation of drill targets and reinforces the potential for multiple discoveries across KL West.”

Building on these results, Kirkland Lake Discoveries plans to conduct further drilling at Winnie Lake and expansion drilling along the Wolverine Bend alteration corridor. The company also intends to test potential feeder and intrusive-centre targets at Cross Roads and Nine Mile as part of its ongoing technical work.
