Koba Resources Launches Soil Sampling Program Across Queensland Tin-Tungsten Prospects

Koba Resources Limited has commenced a systematic soil sampling program of approximately 1,000 samples across six high-priority prospects at its Mt Garnet and Stannary Hills Tin-Tungsten Projects in Queensland.
The program aims to advance the prospects toward drill readiness. Koba acquired the assets in October 2025, adding historical ground including the Kitchener Trend, which previously produced about 120,000 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 2.3% Sn. Earlier rock chip sampling by Koba also returned tin grades up to 26.1% Sn at the Jiminy Prospect.
“The soil program will build upon the exceptional high-grade results already returned across these prospects, that included assays up to 15.2% W at Starlight, 5.4% W at Gows, 1.2% W at Tungsten Knob and 7.7% Sn at the Maria Prospect. The soil program will also help explore for extensions to the mineralisation north of the historically productive high-grade Kitchener Trend.”

Fieldwork is scheduled for completion in September 2026, with assay results expected in October 2026.
Meanwhile, assay results remain pending from a 2,937-metre maiden drilling program across 24 holes at the Stannex and Gilmore Prospects. Koba also plans to begin a ~3,000-metre drilling program shortly at the Kitchener and Jiminy Prospects, pending receipt of the final permit.
Elsewhere in the district, EQ Resources Limited completed a transaction in July 2026 to increase its Mt Carbine tungsten exploration tenure by 45% to 1,136 square kilometres.
