Kobo Resources Hits 2.0 Metres at 21.10 g/t Gold at Kossou
Kobo Resources Inc. has intersected 2.0 metres at 21.10 g/t gold from 321 metres at the Road Cut Zone of its 100%-owned Kossou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The result, from hole KDD0167, is one of several intercepts returned from 12 additional diamond drill holes that continue to test the Main Road Cut Shear, Artisanal Shear, and Contact Zone Fault.
Other highlights from the recent batch include 7.0 metres at 4.16 g/t gold from 193 metres in hole KDD0168, and 8.0 metres at 2.65 g/t gold from 355 metres in hole KDD0170. Mineralisation remains open at depth across the principal structures within the Road Cut Zone.
Kobo has completed more than 47,850 metres of drilling across 240 holes at Kossou, with current activities focused on resource definition and expanding the project's mineralised footprint along a 9+ km prospective strike length. The company is managing a two-drill program to advance this work.
“Our objective at Kossou is to systematically define the scale of the gold mineralised system while continuing to test where it can grow.”
“We now have two drills operating at Kossou as we accelerate the work required for our inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate, which we expect to release in Q4 2026.”
— Edward Gosselin, CEO and Director
The company expects to release its inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the project in Q4 2026. In addition to the ongoing work at the Road Cut Zone, drilling is currently underway at the Kadie Zone, with further assay results to be reported as they become available.
