Krakatoa Resources Limited has secured firm commitments to raise $2.4 million through a share placement, providing the capital necessary to acquire an initial 10% interest in the Zopkhito Antimony-Gold Project in Georgia. The payment of US$875,000 to acquire this stake will be facilitated through the company's wholly owned Georgian subsidiary.

Krakatoa holds an exclusive option to increase its interest in the project to 80%. The company restructured the Zopkhito earn-in agreement in April 2026 to establish a more capital-efficient development pathway.

“This Placement marks the first step to 80% ownership of Zopkhito while accelerating the 2026 resource definition programs and development activities.”

“We are pleased to welcome our cornerstone investor, whose participation reflects the strategic nature, grade and scale of the Zopkhito Project.”

— Colin Locke, Executive Chairman

The placement includes a $1.8 million cornerstone investment from a Hong Kong-based private investor. Beyond funding the initial ownership acquisition, the remaining proceeds are earmarked to accelerate the 2026 work program. These activities include resource definition drilling, both at the surface and from underground adits, as well as bulk sampling and JORC-compliant metallurgical test work.

The company intends for these efforts to support the delivery of a maiden JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate and to advance preliminary mining studies.

The placement consists of issuing 400,000,000 new shares at $0.006 each. Participants will receive one free-attaching unlisted option for every four shares subscribed, exercisable at $0.01. The issuance of these options remains subject to shareholder approval, with a general meeting scheduled for late September 2026.
