Kuniko raises A$1.3 million to advance Commonwealth-Silica Hill project
Kuniko Limited (KNI) has secured commitments for a A$1.30 million private placement to fund ongoing exploration at the Commonwealth gold-silver project in New South Wales. The financing, priced at A$0.02 per share, is structured in two tranches. The first tranche will raise approximately A$1.02 million, while the second tranche—subject to shareholder approval—will raise the remaining A$277,000, including A$182,500 from board and management participation.
The capital injection is earmarked for an active 1,350-metre Phase 2 diamond drilling campaign currently underway. This program is designed to test extensions to the recently discovered Silica Hill zone and target growth at the Commonwealth Main Shaft and Commonwealth South areas.
"The Company appreciates the strong support received from both existing and new shareholders for this Placement."
"The funds raised provide the financial flexibility to continue advancing the Commonwealth-Silica Hill Gold-Silver Project, including the Phase 2 drilling program, resource growth initiatives and systematic testing of the broader exploration potential across the Project area."
— Maja McGuire, Managing Director
The company has set clear timelines for its next operational milestones. Assay results from the current drilling program are expected in September 2026, which will feed into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the project targeted for release in December 2026. Beyond the immediate drill targets, the funding will also support systematic testing of high-priority prospects across the broader 5km² mineralised system.
