Labrador Gold Completes US$1.41M Investment in San Cristobal Mining

Labrador Gold Corp. has completed a US$1,410,000 secondary purchase of common shares in San Cristobal Mining Inc., securing an equity stake in the private Canadian company that operates the San Cristóbal silver-zinc-lead mine in Bolivia.
The transaction gives Labrador Gold non-controlling exposure to the San Cristóbal operation in the Potosí Department of southwestern Bolivia. The company holds no management or operational role in San Cristobal Mining, and the capital outlay was deployed strictly for investment purposes.
The investment forms the cornerstone of a broader portfolio pivot for Labrador Gold. Following the July 2024 sale of its Kingsway project, Labrador Gold initiated a corporate strategy to utilize its balance sheet for project acquisitions and strategic equity investments in other resource companies. Labrador Gold received final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange in March 2026 for its formal change of business to operate as a hybrid mining and investment issuer.
The deployment follows previous capital allocations under the mandate, including an investment in subscription receipts of Northern Shield Resources in late 2025.
San Cristobal Mining owns the San Cristóbal Mine through its wholly owned subsidiary, Minera San Cristóbal S.A. Based on 2025 output, the polymetallic operation ranked as the fourth-largest silver producer globally, according to the Silver Institute, alongside major zinc and lead production. Last year, the mine produced approximately 17.6 million ounces of silver, 184,000 tonnes of zinc metal, and 50,000 tonnes of lead metal.
The operation utilizes extensive established infrastructure, including a processing facility with a throughput capacity of approximately 52,000 tonnes per day, supported by local power, water, and transport networks built over more than two decades of commercial production. San Cristobal Mining is advancing a silver oxide development project located within its district in Bolivia, alongside ongoing exploration programs and additional growth initiatives.
“We welcomed the opportunity to make this investment in San Cristobal Mining,” said Roger Moss, President and CEO of Labrador Gold. “The Company owns a world-class producing asset with a long history of successful operations, significant silver exposure and a strong balance sheet. We believe San Cristobal Mining represents a unique opportunity to gain exposure to one of the most important silver-producing mining operations in the world with significant room to grow. We are pleased to make this the cornerstone of our portfolio.”
