LaFleur Minerals Inc. has appointed Andrew Elinesky as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, bringing two decades of senior executive experience as the company advances toward near-term gold production. Paul Ténière continues as president and a director, overseeing technical operations including the Swanson bulk sampling program and mill recommissioning.

Recommissioning at the 100%-owned Beacon Gold Mill has reached over 95% completion on an average per-item basis. Grinding, crushing, ore storage, and thickening circuits are essentially complete, with rod and ball mills re-lined and charged, and crushers overhauled. Full recommissioning is expected in the fourth quarter once remaining mill activities and tailings storage facility upgrades are finished.

The vertically integrated production model centers on processing mineralized material from the Swanson Gold Deposit at the Beacon facility, which has a capacity exceeding 750 tonnes per day and sits approximately 50 kilometres away in Val-d'Or, Québec. In April 2026, the company entered into a term sheet with Trafigura Canada Limited for a proposed C$30 million prepayment facility and gold doré offtake agreement. Trafigura representatives recently completed an August site visit to inspect the mill and ongoing diamond drilling as due diligence continues, though the company noted no assurance definitive agreements will be executed on contemplated terms.

"I am very excited to join LaFleur Minerals at such an important point in the Company's development. LaFleur Minerals has assembled a compelling platform in the Abitibi Gold Belt as it progresses toward near-term gold production and still has significant opportunities for growth."

— Andrew Elinesky, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Elinesky most recently served as president and CEO of Sabre Gold Mines Corp. To support his appointment, LaFleur granted him 2,000,000 incentive stock options exercisable at $0.40 per share over five years, subject to Canadian Securities Exchange approval.

"As LaFleur Minerals targets near-term gold production, Andrew's arrival comes at a pivotal moment for LaFleur Minerals' growth trajectory. With the Beacon Gold Mill approaching restart and our financing discussions with Trafigura and others, we sought a chief executive who has taken public companies through exactly this transition..."

— Kal Malhi, Chairman

Work at the Swanson Gold Project continues to advance on baseline studies and permitting for the surface bulk sample, supported by ongoing diamond drilling.
