Latitude 66 Delivers 339,000oz Gold Resource at Laverton Gold Project
Latitude 66 Limited has delivered a combined Mineral Resource Estimate totaling 10.7 million tonnes grading 1.0 grams per tonne gold for 339,000 ounces at the Laverton Gold Project in Western Australia, following 6,451 metres of reverse circulation drilling.
The result advances the project from its earlier Exploration Target range of 6.5 million to 11 million tonnes at 1.0 to 1.3 grams per tonne gold for 200,000 to 450,000 ounces. The total figure comprises a maiden estimate at the Tin Dog prospect of 10 million tonnes at 1.0 grams per tonne gold for 309,000 ounces, supported by the identification of an under-recognised northwest-southeast structural control.

At the Red Dog deposit, step-out drilling lifted the resource to 0.7 million tonnes at 1.3 grams per tonne gold for 30,000 ounces, marking a 122 percent increase over the historical remnant estimate of 13,500 ounces.
The resources are constrained within two optimised open-pit shells using an assumed gold price of A$6,000 per ounce and reported above a 0.6 gram per tonne cut-off grade on an 80 percent ownership basis. Located on granted mining leases, the project sits within 100 kilometres of five operating gold processing facilities.
“Delivering a 339,000-ounce Mineral Resource on the Laverton Gold project is a significant milestone for Lat66, taking our global Mineral Resources to more than 900,000 ounces of gold. The result validates our geological model at Tin Dog, where the identification of a previously under-recognised NW-SE structural corridor has contributed to a substantial maiden Mineral Resource, alongside a 122% increase in the Mineral Resource at Red Dog.” — Grant Coyle, Managing Director
The new ounces lift Latitude 66's total global inventory to 18 million tonnes at 1.7 grams per tonne gold for 918,000 ounces, combining the Laverton additions with the company's existing Finnish resources of 650,000 ounces.
Latitude 66 plans to conduct reverse circulation and diamond drilling to test extensions to known mineralisation and parallel structures at The Don and Wilpro within the Laverton Gold Project.
