Latitude 66 Unlocks A$3.4M in Non-Dilutive Funding Through Australian Royalty Sale
Latitude 66 Limited has entered into a binding Royalty Sale and Purchase Agreement with Vox Royalty Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Vox Royalty Corp., to sell two non-core Australian royalty interests for a total cash consideration of A$3.4 million.
The transaction covers Latitude 66’s interest in the Kalman Royalty in Queensland, which comprises a 2.0% royalty on tenement EPM13870, alongside the Sylvania Royalty in Western Australia, which includes Net Smelter Return royalties across multiple tenements.
Completion of the Sylvania portion is conditional upon Greenmount Resources Pty Ltd waiving its existing right of first refusal or the right of first refusal period expiring without acceptance. Settlement for each royalty sale will occur within five business days following the satisfaction or waiver of applicable conditions.
The cash proceeds lift Latitude 66’s total non-dilutive funding secured from non-core asset sales to A$4.9 million over the past week, following the recently announced divestment of the Piastri Project.
“The sale of these royalty interests marks another important step in Latitude 66's strategy to unlock value from our non-core asset portfolio. Together with the recently announced sale of the Piastri Project, we have now realised A$4.9 million from non-core assets in the past week, providing significant additional funding without dilution to our shareholders.”
— Grant Coyle, Managing Director
The funding replaces potential equity dilution while directing management attention and capital toward core assets, including the flagship Kuusamo Schist Belt Project in Northern Finland, which holds an Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 650,000 ounces of gold and 5,840 tonnes of cobalt.
Managing Director Grant Coyle noted that the strengthened balance sheet positions the company to accelerate exploration and development across its core portfolio, including planned drilling at the KSB and PSB projects in Finland and the Laverton Project in Western Australia, while continuing study work and development opportunities at KSB and Laverton.
