Laurion Intersects Polymetallic Mineralisation in Phase 1 Drilling at Ishkōday
Laurion has intersected gold, zinc, silver, and copper mineralisation in the first three holes of its Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the Ishkōday project in Ontario. The latest results extend the polymetallic footprint of the A-Zone down-plunge and confirm a new geophysical target at the Garvey Zone.
Hole LBX26-104, designed to test the down-plunge extension of the A-Zone, returned 11.15m grading 0.393 g/t Au, 6.06 g/t Ag, 0.18% Cu, and 1.80% Zn. This interval included a higher-grade sub-interval of 1.95m at 1.314 g/t Au, 13.43 g/t Ag, 0.41% Cu, and 6.34% Zn.
A second hole, LBX26-105, intercepted 14.90m grading 0.125 g/t Au, 4.89 g/t Ag, 0.18% Cu, and 0.67% Zn southwest of previous drilling, along with a 2.00m intercept at 1.342 g/t Au. The company noted that LBX26-103 validated its geophysical targeting concept at the Garvey Zone, where chargeability and resistivity signatures indicate the presence of hydrothermal quartz-breccia-hosted mineralisation.

The company is currently progressing through the Phase 1 drilling program, which is intended to advance the Ishkōday project toward the completion of a maiden mineral resource estimate. The current drilling effort follows an independent technical gap analysis that identified five target zones to refine geological modelling and evaluate the continuity of the A-Zone deposit.
