Legacy Gold Mines Ltd. (LEGY: TSXV) has announced a final increase to its non-brokered private placement, targeting gross proceeds of C$10.0 million. The company now plans to issue up to 33,333,333 common shares at a price of C$0.30 per share. This adjustment marks the fourth update to the financing terms since February 2026, solidifying the capital raise at its maximum intended capacity.

The proceeds are earmarked to advance exploration and development at the Baner Gold Mine property. Situated in Idaho’s historic Orogrande Mining District, the project has been the primary focus of the company’s recent operational efforts, including multiple drilling campaigns targeting the Main Zone. By securing this funding, the company aims to maintain momentum on its current work programs and support broader business development initiatives.

Completion of the private placement remains subject to standard regulatory review and final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. Upon closing, the issued securities will be subject to a mandatory four-month statutory hold period. The company has indicated that it may pay finders’ fees to eligible parties, also contingent upon exchange compliance.

The broader region remains active for gold exploration, with nearby projects such as the Walla Walla property, held by Sidney Resources Corporation, located approximately 45 kilometers from the Baner site. As Legacy Gold prepares for its next phase of development, market participants will be watching for the successful clearance of the private placement, which currently stands as a critical catalyst for the junior explorer.

The company’s financial position and the potential for further mineralization at Baner continue to be central to its strategy. As of June 2, 2026, Legacy Gold’s stock closed at a price of 1, reflecting ongoing interest in the firm's progress within the Idaho gold belt. Following the receipt of these funds, the company is expected to transition into its next operational cycle, building upon the geological data gathered from its 2025 exploration programs.
