Legacy Minerals Holdings Ltd has advanced an Optimised Scoping Study for its flagship Mt Carrington Gold-Silver Project in New South Wales, targeting plant throughput options above the original 1 million tonnes per annum baseline.

The current evaluation marks a shift from the May 2026 Scoping Study, which was underpinned by a production target of 10.1 million tonnes. The updated study incorporates a July 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate that increases total resource tonnes by 39% to 47.9 million tonnes at 1.0 grams per tonne gold equivalent, containing 714,000 ounces of gold and 35 million ounces of silver.

Total resource tonnage at the project has expanded by 151% since the initial acquisition by Legacy Minerals.

Indicated Resources have increased by 69% to 19.3 million tonnes at 1.22 grams per tonne gold equivalent, compared to 11.4 million tonnes in the 2025 estimate. The processing strategy remains unchanged, utilising a cyanide-free flotation flowsheet to produce a saleable precious metal concentrate.

Ausenco Services Pty Ltd is undertaking process engineering, cost estimating and financial modelling for the study, while WSP Australia Pty Limited handles mine optimisations and mine scheduling.

Legacy Minerals expects to release the results of the Optimised Scoping Study in the December 2026 quarter.
