Leocor Mining Inc. has completed a VTEM Plus airborne electromagnetic survey conducted by Geotech Ltd. at the Copper Creek prospect, situated within the company’s Baie Verte project on the north-central coast of Newfoundland.

The survey covers the 2,002-hectare contiguous exploration corridor, which encompasses the Dorset, Dorset Extension, Copper Creek, and Five Mile Brook projects. The work follows up on Leocor’s maiden drilling campaign at Copper Creek, which identified stockwork chalcopyrite mineralization interpreted to represent feeder-type mineralization of a volcanogenic massive sulphide system. That previous program also identified additional system hallmarks, including anomalous zinc mineralization and lenses of massive and semi-massive pyrite.

Leocor previously outlined plans for the airborne survey in March 2026 to generate data across the project area. The Geotech helicopter-borne time-domain electromagnetic system maps subsurface variations in electrical conductivity and magnetic susceptibility, using a low base operating frequency to penetrate depths of up to 500 metres. Sulfide minerals such as chalcopyrite and pyrite provide strong electrical conductivity contrasts against unmineralized host rocks.

Leocor will use the survey data to establish priority targets for its next phase of field exploration across the Newfoundland property.
