High-Grade Copper-Gold Intersections at Monza

LinQ Minerals (ASX: LNQ) has released encouraging assay results from its maiden drill program at the Monza prospect, located within the Gilmore Gold-Copper Project in New South Wales. The company completed eight holes in the current campaign, with the latest findings confirming the presence of thick, shallow copper-gold mineralisation across several intervals. Notably, hole MZACD005 returned a high-grade intersection of 5m at 5.36% CuEq, while broader mineralised zones were identified in both MZACD003 and MZACD004.

The drilling results define a moderate to steep west-dipping porphyry system that appears to plunge towards the north-northwest. These holes were designed to test for extensions of previously identified mineralisation, and the data suggests the system remains open in multiple directions, warranting further investigation.

The Monza prospect represents a key focus area for LinQ Minerals as it works to delineate the potential of its broader project portfolio. The company is actively targeting a 17km long mineralised porphyry corridor at Gilmore, which connects the Monza and Estoril deposits. By testing the geological continuity between these sites, the company aims to establish whether a larger, cohesive porphyry complex exists across the strike zone. Exploration to date at Monza has successfully identified sulphide breccia zones, providing the technical team with increased confidence as they continue to refine their structural interpretation of the area.

With drilling activities complete for the current phase, attention now shifts to the remaining laboratory data. Assay results are currently pending for five additional holes, identified as MZACD006 through to MZACD010. These forthcoming results are expected to further clarify the geometry of the system and help define priority targets for future exploration efforts aimed at expanding the known mineralised footprint within the broader Gilmore tenure.
