LinQ Minerals Limited has returned thick shallow copper and gold intervals from its ongoing maiden drill program at the Gilmore Project in New South Wales, highlighted by hole MZACD010 intersecting 113 metres at 0.71% copper equivalent from 33 metres depth.

The latest phase of drilling at the Monza prospect completed four additional holes, designated MZACD007 through MZACD010. Among the new assays, hole MZACD010 included a higher-grade section of 72 metres at 0.95% copper equivalent from 45 metres, which internalised a 4-metre interval grading 5.3% copper equivalent from 62 metres. Hole MZACD008 returned 193 metres at 0.45% copper equivalent from 49 metres, while hole MZACD007 intersected 104 metres at 0.38% copper equivalent from 159 metres. Hole MZACD009 intercepted 79 metres at 0.31% copper equivalent from 40 metres and a deeper 31-metre interval at 0.69% copper equivalent from 352 metres.

Assays from the program confirm that the high-grade copper-gold mineralisation remains open near surface to the north and east, as well as along strike and at depth in all directions. The system is related to a complex of monzonite and monzodiorite intrusives within the Macquarie Arc.

“We continue to intersect shallow thick copper mineralisation from near surface at Monza. The prospect remains open in all directions, including a 1km strike between Monza (prospect) and Estoril (Gilmore Resource). We are highly encouraged by our maiden drill campaign at Monza and planning is currently underway to follow up with additional drilling to test the size of the system.

The Company holds a highly strategic and prospective tenement package which hosts a ~ 40km strike of known continuous porphyry Cu and epithermal Au occurrences in the Macquarie Arc. We have significant leverage to both gold and copper metals, hosting a global JORC MRE of 516Mt containing ~ 3.7Moz Au & ~ 1.2Mt Cu.” — Clive Donner, Executive Chair

The Monza prospect forms part of a 17-kilometre-long mineralised porphyry copper and gold corridor that also hosts reported mineral resource estimates at the Estoril, Culingerai, and Mandamah deposits. LinQ Minerals holds a global JORC mineral resource estimate of 516 million tonnes containing approximately 3.7 million ounces of gold and 1.2 million tonnes of copper across its tenement package.

Planning is currently underway for follow-up extensional drilling to test previous air core results over an approximate one-kilometre untested strike extent between Monza and the Estoril porphyry resource, evaluating the concept of a continuous mineralised body.
