The headline interval from hole TGC-0650, which includes a higher-grade sub-interval of 6,571.20 g/t gold over 0.45 metres from a downhole depth of 121.1 metres, marks the highest-grade assay result ever recorded at Tuvatu. The program totaled 3,337.30 metres across 18 drillholes targeting southern and down-dip extensions of the Ura and Murau lodes below level 1061. Lion One intersected high-grade mineralization in 14 holes, with three abandoned.

Other top assay results from Zone 2 include hole TGC-0633, returning 35.24 g/t gold over 5.1 metres with an included 325.75 g/t over 0.4 metres, and hole TGC-0625, returning 40.93 g/t gold over 3.6 metres with a 162.75 g/t intercept over 0.5 metres. Additional intervals included 237.58 g/t gold over 0.4 metres in hole TUE-0004 and 95.28 g/t gold over 0.5 metres in hole TGC-0617.

The high-grade intercepts sit within 15 to 75 metres of underground development and outside the current resource. Lion One anticipates incorporating these areas into the mine plan within twelve months. The Ura and Murau lode systems remain open at depth and along strike.

The 4.2-metre headline intercept at 715.15 g/t gold is located 55 metres from the Western Decline and intersected a shallow-dipping, roscoelite-bearing vein within the Murau lode system. Roscoelite is directly associated with high-grade gold in alkaline gold systems.

Lion One established operations in late 2023 at the 100% owned Tuvatu project, which comprises the underground mine, pilot plant, and on-site geochemical assay laboratory. Mechanized production mining commenced in May 2024 following the first remote bogging and long-hole stope blast.

“We're extremely pleased with the new results from our Zone 2 drilling. The interval of 715.15 g/t gold over 4.2 m is the highest grade over width in the history of Tuvatu, and it's located in close proximity to our underground workings in an area of limited drilling.”

— Ian Berzins, President and CEO

The ongoing drill campaign continues to test extensions of the mineralized systems as the company advances resource expansion efforts across the Tuvatu property.
