Lion One Metals Appoints Ronan Geoghegan as VP of Corporate Development
Lion One Metals Limited (LIO) has appointed Ronan Geoghegan as its new Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. Geoghegan, a professional geologist who also holds an MBA in finance, has been with the company since 2023, where he has led investor relations and development initiatives. His background includes more than 15 years of industry experience, covering the full mining lifecycle from initial exploration through to production.
The appointment coincides with the departure of Hamish Greig, who served the company for 16 years as Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and a former director. Greig played a central role during his tenure at the Tuvatu project in Fiji, contributing to milestones such as the construction of the assay lab, the consolidation of the Navilawa Caldera, and the discovery of Zone 500. He was involved in the development of the project from its early exploration phases through its transition into an active gold mine.
This leadership change follows several other recent adjustments to the company’s executive team. In June 2026, the company reappointed Ian Berzins as President and CEO, signaling a series of shifts in management composition. These updates arrive as the company continues to focus on operations at the Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project, which includes an underground mine, a pilot plant, and ongoing exploration efforts across its licensed areas. Geoghegan’s elevated role is intended to further support the company’s leadership team as it pursues its current strategic objectives and works to generate shareholder value.
