Lion Rock Minerals Limited has returned high-grade rare earth element assays from surface at the Minta Rare Earth and Rutile Project in Cameroon, highlighted by an intercept of 2.3 metres at 4.54% Total Rare Earth Oxides from surface in hole MRAU0238, ending in mineralisation with grades reaching 21.15% TREO within the saprolite unit.

The results stem from a targeted valuation of retained auger drill material from the Minta Est tenement, which previously focused primarily on surficial mineral sands and rutile. The ICP-OES multi-element analysis delivered multiple shallow, multi-metre intervals, including 3.0 metres at 3.40% TREO in hole MRAU0239 and 2.0 metres at 3.49% TREO in hole MRAU0247, both starting from surface and remaining open at depth.

The rare earth basket shows a favorable distribution of permanent-magnet metals. Neodymium and praseodymium account for 21% to 24% of total rare oxides across the intervals, while heavy rare earths dysprosium and terbium contribute 0.6% to 1.6%.

Lion Rock appointed former Sierra Rutile leadership, including CEO Theuns de Bruyn and COO Grant Scott, in May 2026 to oversee operational development across the extensive project footprint. In addition, Tronox Holdings plc holds a 5% strategic investment in Lion Rock, aligning potential rare-earth resources at Minta Est with its broader supply chain strategy.

Following the completion of a larger 761-hole alluvial drill campaign yielding 3,666 samples, Lion Rock plans to report further multi-element assay results in batches over the coming weeks as laboratory processing advances.
