Lode Gold Resources Inc. has added underground mine engineer Roberto Llovet Vazquez to the Technical Advisory Board for the Fremont gold project in Mariposa, California.

Llovet Vazquez brings more than a decade of international underground mining operations experience, having previously served as chief operating officer across development-stage and producing assets in Spain, Peru and Mexico. His background includes overseeing cut-and-fill, long-hole, and room-and-pillar operations, as well as advancing projects from preliminary economic assessments to definitive feasibility studies.

The appointment bolsters the project's technical bench as the company schedules a pre-feasibility study for the asset to be completed in 2027.

“Roberto has hands-on experience taking underground mines through the full development cycle - from PEA to feasibility-level engineering to production optimization - which is directly applicable to where we are today at Fremont,” said Wendy T. Chan, CEO and Director of Lode Gold.

“Roberto adds relevant experience to our current technical team, which includes Bill Fisher, former Chairman of Aurelian, who discovered the Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador - later acquired by Kinross, and now Lundin Gold's flagship asset - and Martin Stratte, who brings experience permitting mines in California, including Equinox's restart of Castle Mountain. We now have a great balance of technical expertise spanning geology, engineering, and permitting as we advance the project in 2027.”

The company is advancing the California property following an updated mineral resource estimate and previous economic assessments.
