Lode Resources has identified new silver-zinc mineralisation adjacent to the existing Montezuma Lode alongside a newly defined zone of silver-antimony mineralisation at the Montezuma project in Tasmania.

The current drilling campaign follows a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate for the Montezuma Project established in April 2026, which outlined 480 kilotonnes at 533 grams per tonne silver equivalent for 8.2 million ounces of silver equivalent.

The prior June 2026 discovery announcement initially identified drill hole MZS42 intercepting 6.40m at 6.2% zinc and 43g/t silver in replacement-style mineralisation hosted in the Maestries Conglomerate, approximately 50 to 80m west of the Montezuma Fault.

Follow-up hole MZS43 tested both the southern extension of the Montezuma silver-antimony lode and the newly recognised Maestries replacement mineralisation. The hole intersected significant sulphide mineralisation across both target areas and identified a previously undiscovered hanging wall fissure lode hosting identical mineralisation approximately 50m into the hanging wall.

MZS43 represents the first hole drilled from the hanging-wall side of the deposit, providing improved drilling angles and opening up additional areas for testing. The intercept at 133.5 to 134.5m returned 1.0m of massive banded jamesonite, pyrite, arsenopyrite and tetrahedrite. Two separate intercepts of the Montezuma Lode were also intersected from 220.4 to 221.5m and from 237.3 to 238.1m, with further replacement zones measuring 2.2m and 15.4m downhole.

Assay results for drill hole MZS43 are currently pending at the Montezuma project, with samples submitted to ALS Laboratories in Burnie. Drilling of the second hole in the program has commenced from the hanging wall to extend existing mineralisation and test the scale of the newly identified lodes and silver-zinc system.

With Drill hole MZS43 assays pending and further drilling underway from the newly established hanging-wall access, we are rapidly building our understanding of the scale and continuity of this mineralisation.”

Further exploration drilling is also underway at Fahlore as Lode continues to test regional targets across its Tasmanian tenements.
