Lodestar Minerals Limited (LSR) has released encouraging drill results from its Ned's Creek gold project in Western Australia, with new data from the Central Park prospect confirming high-grade intersections. These latest findings from a 12,417-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign indicate that the mineralisation remains open to the west, where the company recently intersected a broad, high-grade zone.

One of the standout results came from vertical hole LNRC210, which returned 34m @ 1.81g/t Au from 42 metres, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 12m at 3.03g/t Au. Other notable intersections include 24m at 1.56g/t Au and 20m at 1.90g/t Au. These results have been incorporated into the project’s ongoing geological modelling, which identifies sheared mafic-intermediate schist below the saprolite zone. Lodestar is currently processing 1,085 resamples at a laboratory to refine these findings, with the remaining assay results for the broader program expected within the next four weeks.

The drilling was designed to test the project’s existing Exploration Target of 250,000 to 300,000 ounces of gold. According to company management, these new intersections not only bolster the geological confidence in the historical data used to define that target but also suggest potential for expanding the footprint into fresh rock.

"The high grades and thick oxide mineralisation returned from Central Park further support the potential to expand the mineralisation footprint at Ned's Creek. Importantly, Ned's Creek continues to demonstrate very strong growth potential in the oxide zone and in fresh rock. This is shown by the identification of new mineralised lodes sub-parallel to those previously recognised, mineralisation extending from the supergene zone into the underlying fresh rock and mineralisation intersected at or beyond the limits of the Exploration Target. Pending results are eagerly awaited to finalise the data collection required to support advancement of the asset towards a Maiden MRE this calendar year." — Coraline Blaud, CEO and Executive Director

As the company moves toward the next phase of development, it is initiating environmental and heritage studies to facilitate a Mining Lease application in early 2027. This includes a two-stage flora survey commencing this spring and continued engagement with Native Title groups. The primary milestone remains the publication of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Ned's Creek project, which the company expects to deliver in late 2026. These technical efforts, combined with the pending assay results, are intended to finalize the data set required to transition the asset from an exploration project toward potential development. The identification of sub-parallel mineralised lodes and fresh rock gold presence will be central to the updated resource models scheduled for release later this year.
