Luca Mining Corp. has returned 183.7 metres grading 1.18 g/t gold, 72.42 g/t silver, 0.39% copper, 0.45% lead, and 1.67% zinc from the Largo Norte zone at its Campo Morado mine in Mexico. The result, obtained from underground drillhole CMUG-26-50, includes an — Stuart McDonald, President & CEO

The exploration program is focused on expanding high-grade, gold and silver-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization located near existing underground infrastructure. Additional results from the Naranjo zone further highlight this potential. Underground hole CMUG-26-46 intersected 90.6 metres at 0.99 g/t gold, 40.07 g/t silver, 0.94% copper, 0.18% lead, and 0.73% zinc. From surface, hole CMNJ-26-02 returned 9.6 metres at 4.05 g/t gold, 241.09 g/t silver, 0.90% copper, 1.57% lead, and 2.72% zinc.

Drilling at the El Rey and Estrella de Oro targets also yielded mineralization, with El Rey hole CMRY-26-17 intersecting 15.4 metres at 0.82 g/t gold, 59.74 g/t silver, 0.63% copper, 0.34% lead, and 2.88% zinc. Luca continues to operate two surface rigs and one underground rig, having completed 13,571 metres across 60 underground holes and 20,063 metres across 75 surface holes to date.

The current campaign represents the first substantial exploration effort at the site since 2014, with the company reinterpreting extensive historical data and geophysical surveys to prioritize over 38 exploration targets. Luca intends to integrate these latest findings into a forthcoming technical report for the Campo Morado mine.

“These latest drill results continue to demonstrate the significant upside that exists at Campo Morado beyond our current mine plan.”

“Naranjo, Largo Norte and El Rey continue to deliver encouraging results, with drilling expanding the known extent of mineralization while increasing our confidence in the continuity of these zones.”
