Luca Mining Posts $58.4 Million Q2 Revenue and $10.5 Million Net Earnings

Luca Mining Corp. reported $58.4 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, a 47% increase from $39.7 million in Q2 2025, supported by stronger realized metal prices and contributions from both operations.
The Canadian mining company, which operates the Campo Morado polymetallic mine in Guerrero State and the Tahuehueto gold-silver mine in Durango State, posted net earnings of $10.5 million, or $0.04 per share, compared with a net loss of $3.2 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted EBITDA rose 156% year-over-year to $14.3 million for the quarter.
For the first six months of 2026, Luca generated $116.0 million in revenue and $23.1 million in net earnings. Operating cash flow before working capital changes reached $13.9 million during Q2 2026. After $11.3 million of capital investment, the company generated free cash flow before working capital changes of $2.6 million, compared with negative $3.2 million in Q2 2025. The company maintained a cash balance of $24.7 million as of June 30, 2026, funding underground development, sustaining capital, infrastructure and exploration expenditures while reducing debt.
At Tahuehueto, mill throughput averaged 1,115 tonnes per operating day during the quarter, exceeding the plant's 1,000 tpd installed capacity and increasing 13% from Q1 2026. At Campo Morado, mining intentionally outpaced processing to build ore stockpiles. The operation produced 32.3 million zinc-equivalent pounds during the quarter, a 6% increase from Q2 2025, as the company advanced metallurgical optimization initiatives.
“Operationally, Tahuehueto continues to perform strongly, with mill throughput exceeding budgeted capacity during the quarter, while at Campo Morado we built a stockpile to advance metallurgical optimization initiatives designed to improve near-term recoveries ahead of the Campo Morado Expansion. At both operations, we remain focused on converting these investments into improved operational performance and long-term cash flow generation.”
