Lunnon Metals Intersects New Gold Structure at Benmore

Lunnon Metals Limited has intersected a new mineralised structure estimated at a true width of 40 metres at the Benmore prospect, located within the Foster-Baker gold project in Western Australia.

The intercept was returned from the third diamond drill hole, JAN26DD_011, as part of the company’s $13 million fiscal 2027 exploration program. An interval prioritised for sampling returned 17.86 metres at 0.61 g/t gold from 301.60 metres downhole, with individual grades ranging from 0.03 g/t up to 8.37 g/t over 0.36 metres and 7.26 g/t over 0.32 metres.

The broader 90-metre sheared and foliated basalt and dolerite zone features quartz-carbonate breccias, veins, and an alteration assemblage containing albite, biotite, pyrite, and pyrrhotite.

Assay results remain pending for the remainder of diamond drill hole JAN26DD_011 at Benmore. Detailed logging and assays are also pending for follow-up diamond drill hole JAN26DD_012, along with assay results for diamond drill holes JAN26DD_008 and JAN26DD_009 on the Benmore drill section.

The Foster-Baker gold project encompasses multiple gold prospects, including Hustler, where Lunnon Metals has previously conducted definition drilling and metallurgical test work.

However, these framework holes are not necessarily designed or expected to intersect gold mineralisation, which makes the identification of a new, gold mineralised structure in just the third hole drilled so much more satisfying.”

Further drilling, geological interpretation, and assay results will be required to determine the overall scale, continuity, and significance of the mineralisation identified at Benmore as the framework drilling program continues.
