Lux Metals Corp. has appointed Simon T. Hébert as Senior Geological Advisor, strengthening its technical capacity in Québec as it launches a diamond drill program at the La Grande project.

Hébert will advise on geological interpretation, target generation, and drill planning under President and CEO Kim-Quyên Nguyên. His background includes exploration roles with Virginia Mines and Osisko Mining, serving as Mining Director for the Société de développement de la Baie-James, and acting as Vice President of Development at Brunswick Exploration. He also chairs the board of the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association.

The 4,500-metre drill campaign is designed to test extensions of Zone 32, complete infill drilling, and evaluate regional targets along the shear corridor and tonalite complex. La Grande hosts the high-grade Zone 32 system, supported by over 40,000 metres of historic drilling.

“As we move into active exploration, the most valuable thing we can add is experienced judgement on the ground in Québec. Simon brings that. He knows the La Grande Subprovince, he has designed and supervised programs of this kind before, and he will be involved in the geological interpretation and target selection that shape where we drill,” said Kim Quyên Nguyên, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lux Metals Corp.

Alongside the appointment, Lux Metals granted 1,400,000 incentive stock options and 350,000 deferred share units under its Long-Term Incentive Plan to directors, officers, advisors, and the newly appointed CEO. The options carry a five-year term with an exercise price of $0.20 per share and vest immediately.
