Lux Metals Corp. will commence a 4,500-metre diamond drilling program on August 25, 2026, at its flagship La Grande Project in Québec’s Eeyou Istchee James Bay region.

The company acquired its 100% interest in the 15,357-hectare asset in February 2026 through an option agreement with OVI Mining Corp. Following the receipt of drill permits in May, Lux has scheduled the evaluation to test targets across a 40-kilometre greenstone belt.

The upcoming campaign is drawn from 8,800 metres of designed holes. Drilling will focus on expanding the Zone 32 mineralized envelope down-plunge and along strike, conducting infill drilling within the known system, and testing parallel structures within the broader tonalite corridor.

Zone 32 serves as the high-grade core of the property, hosted within the La-Grande-Sud Tonalite at the structural contact with surrounding mafic volcanic rocks. Historic work behind the deposit exceeds 40,000 metres of drilling, delineating gold mineralization extending 600 metres along strike and 350 metres at depth. Previous drilling has returned intercepts including 1.93 g/t gold over 37.0 metres approximately 400 metres down-plunge from the main envelope.

The upcoming drill work is informed by a surface prospecting and geochemical program completed in June 2026, which yielded grab samples of 1.40 g/t gold with 1,030 ppm copper and 5.7 g/t silver.

District activity is also underway nearby, where Azimut Exploration Inc. launched a $3.4-million exploration program featuring a 5,000-metre diamond drilling campaign at its Kukamas project in July 2026.
