Mammoth Minerals Limited has intersected a parallel high-grade gold zone at the Lunchbox Ridge target within the Buster Trend at its Excelsior Springs Project in Nevada, USA.

Reverse circulation drilling returned 10.67m at 3.76g/t Au from 198.2m, including an internal high-grade interval of 4.6m at 6.86g/t Au from 199.7m in hole MEXRC2637. The intercept expands known mineralisation over 700 metres along strike from the main Buster Gold Mine zone on an untested parallel structure.

The latest drilling targets a deeper geophysical feature interpreted as a feeder structure that channels mineral-rich fluids into host sequences. The new mineralised horizon remains open along strike and down-dip.

Targeted field campaigns across the wider project area also delivered high-grade surface sampling results from the western extents of the Blue Dick trends. Assays from surface sampling included 1,190g/t Ag, 4.7g/t Au and 4.55% Pb in sample MREX01209, as well as 1,078g/t Ag, 11.8g/t Au, 1.1% Cu, 8.5% Pb and 15.3% Zn in sample MREX01194.

Drilling at the Blue Dick prospect is progressing, with nine of the planned 29 holes now completed across approximately 5,000 metres of cumulative strike exceeding 6.5 kilometres. Mammoth has a further 20 planned holes remaining in the reverse circulation program.

“This exciting high-grade result from step-out drilling along the Buster Trend has opened up a significant new target horizon, redefining the potential within the Buster Shear corridor. Drilling in this area was targeting a deeper geophysical feature that was untested by historical drill holes, with the exceptional result highlighting further growth opportunities along the broader Buster Gold Trend.”

“Importantly, this newly discovered mineralised horizon remains open in multiple directions, and reaffirms the mineralisation model of broad-scale feeder structures facilitating the movement of mineral-rich fluids into the gold-rich horizons defined by these results. Lunchbox Ridge sits over 700m along strike from the historical Buster UG workings, indicating that scale potential continues to grow on multiple fronts - including mineralisation starting from surface.”

Regionally, district exploration activity includes maiden drill program results at the Gold Mountain project reported by 49 Metals Limited. Mammoth previously expanded its landholding at Excelsior by 340% to 83.6 square kilometres through strategic staking and funded exploration activities via a A$7.5 million placement.
