Mammoth Minerals has intersected broad shallow gold mineralisation at the Lunchbox Ridge Prospect, extending the Buster Gold Trend by approximately 700 metres along strike at the Excelsior Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, USA.

The reverse circulation drilling program returned key intercepts including 22.9 metres at 1.37 grams per tonne gold from 10.7 metres, including 3.0 metres at 4.15 grams per tonne gold from 22.9 metres in hole MEXRC0635. Hole MEXRC2634 returned 12.2 metres at 1.57 grams per tonne gold from 32 metres, including 4.6 metres at 3.31 grams per tonne gold from 38.1 metres, alongside 10.7 metres at 1.09 grams per tonne gold from 164.6 metres.

The new results remain open along strike and down-dip, supporting Mammoth's geological interpretation of multiple mineralised structures feeding gold into favourable host horizons.

“These latest results are an encouraging development for the Buster Gold Trend, confirming shallow mineralisation at Lunchbox Ridge, approximately 700m along strike from the Buster Gold Mine. This highlights the significant growth potential we see across the Excelsior mineral claim.”

“Importantly, the results support our geological model of significant feeder structures introducing gold into favourable host horizons and clearly show that the mineralised system extends well beyond the area that has historically seen the majority of drilling at the Buster Gold Mine.”

Drilling has since moved to the Blue Dick Silver Prospect within the project area, where five holes for 1,100 metres have been completed targeting silver-dominant polymetallic mineralisation. Samples have been submitted for analysis with results expected within three weeks. A further 24 reverse circulation drill holes are planned across multiple mineralised trends at the project.

Nearby in the surrounding district, 49 Metals reported in July 2026 that RC drilling at its Gold Mountain project intersected 64m @ 1.0g/t Au from 152.4m.
