Mandrake Resources Limited has received environmental approval from the Northern Territory Department of Lands, Planning and Environment for its planned approximately 3,200-metre drilling programme at the Berinka Gold-Copper Project in the Northern Territory.

The regulatory approval marks the final official clearance required before drilling can get underway. Mandrake holds a 100% ownership interest in the asset, which is located within the Pine Creek Orogen.

Previous exploration across the property, including historical drilling and a 2022 campaign conducted by Mandrake, has already confirmed the presence of gold and copper mineralisation. Past results from the area include an intercept of four metres grading 6.6 grams per tonne gold from a depth of 32 metres, as well as a separate intersection returning six metres at 2.3 grams per tonne gold and 0.34% copper from a depth of five metres.

With the environmental mining licence now secured, field teams are preparing for site activities. Mandrake has scheduled the mobilisation and commencement of the 3,200-metre drilling programme for next month.
