Manhattan Gold Corporation Limited has reported new diamond drilling assays from the Hook Lake Project in Nunavut, Canada, highlighted by drillhole JWS26009 intersecting 15.24 metres at 5.35 g/t gold from 35.05 metres within a broader 74.67-metre interval grading 1.61 g/t gold from 21.34 metres.

The current 2026 drilling campaign represents the first modern drilling conducted at the property in over thirty years. Manhattan holds a 100% mineral interest across 338 square kilometres of Inuit-owned land at the project following a land agreement expansion approved by the Kivalliq Inuit Association.

Assay results from drillhole JWS26008 returned 51.82 metres at 1.88 g/t gold from 47.24 metres, including 7.62 metres at 7.05 g/t gold from 82.30 metres, alongside a separate interval of 24.38 metres at 1.15 g/t gold from 204.22 metres. This hole confirmed gold mineralisation to a vertical depth of 223 metres below surface. Meanwhile, drillhole JWS26010 extended the mineralised system 290 metres northeast beyond historic drilling, bringing the drill-tested strike length at the Jaws target to 588 metres.

“These results materially strengthen the case for both scale and grade at Jaws. JWS26009 has delivered 15.24m at 5.35 g/t Au within a broad 74.67m mineralised interval close to surface, while JWS26008 has confirmed high-grade gold from surface and extended mineralisation to 223 vertical metres below surface. In parallel, drilling has expanded the footprint by more than 290m to the northeast, taking the drill-tested strike length at Jaws to 588m.”

“We are now seeing grade, width and scale come together across a system that remains open at depth and along strike. The As-Sb-W pathfinder signature gives us an increasingly useful vector for targeting, and with 14 holes pending assay there is a strong pipeline of results ahead. Metallurgical test work and regional till sampling are also advancing in parallel. Jaws is developing into a substantially larger and more compelling gold system than the historic work suggested.”

The company has 14 drillholes currently pending assay results for the Jaws target. In addition, Manhattan is preparing selected samples for dispatch for metallurgical test work to support future technical studies.
