Manhattan Gold Hits 41.15m at 4.66 g/t Gold in Maiden Drilling at Hook Lake
Manhattan Gold Corporation Limited has returned maiden reverse circulation drilling results from the Jaws gold target at the Hook Lake Project in Nunavut, Canada, highlighted by drillhole JWS26006b intersecting 41.15m at 4.66 g/t gold from 83.82 metres downhole.

The initial assay batch from the first four drillholes confirms a broad gold system across the advanced orogenic target. Drillhole JWS26006b returned a high-grade interval of 7.62m at 18.67 g/t gold from 85.34m within the main shear zone, which included individual samples grading 33.40 g/t gold over 1.52m from 86.87m and 41.0 g/t gold over 1.52m from 89.92m. The same hole ended with a 1.52m intercept grading 0.31 g/t gold from 199.64m, identifying a new deeper zone of gold mineralisation.
Other holes in the maiden program returned broad and near-surface intercepts. Drillhole JWS26001 intersected 79.25m at 0.78 g/t gold from 38.10m, including a 33.53m section grading 1.04 g/t gold. Drillhole JWS26002 returned 9.15m at 1.99 g/t gold from 153.92m, and JWS26003 intersected 9.15m at 1.73 g/t gold from 35.05m.
Data from the maiden drillholes has refined the geological model at Jaws, indicating the main shear zone sits approximately 20 to 30 metres northwest of positions inferred from 1980s records. The revised geometry provides improved spatial control to target interpreted higher-grade cores and plunging shoots.
“These are exceptional first results for Manhattan. An intercept of 41.15m at 4.66g/t gold, including 7.62m at 18.67g/t, materially elevates the scale and grade potential of the Jaws system.”
“The result is materially wider and higher grade than the nearest historic intercept and confirms that Jaws hosts very high-grade shoots within a broad mineralised envelope. Historic drilling was sparse and did not define the geometry or full extent of these high-grade zones. We now have a clear opportunity to build scale by tracing this mineralisation along strike and at depth, while targeting additional high-grade shoots across the system.”

The company funded the maiden 4,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program through a completed A$3 million capital raise and a CA$250,000 federal cash grant. The ongoing field program has now surpassed 3,000 metres across 13 completed drillholes.
Manhattan Gold Corporation Limited awaits assay results for 13 completed reverse circulation drillholes at the Hook Lake Project, which includes two holes completed at the Spectre volcanogenic massive sulphide target. The company has also planned a follow-up diamond drilling campaign later in 2026.
