Maple Gold Mines Ltd. has reported final assay results from the remaining four holes of its 10,870-metre winter drill campaign at the Joutel Gold Project in Quebec, extending high-grade gold mineralization up to 450 metres beyond the historical Eagle-Telbel mine workings.

The winter program completed 22 holes, with 19 intersecting target mineralization for an 86% success rate. The best result came from drill hole JO-26-18, located between the Eagle and Telbel shafts at approximately 200 metres vertical depth, which intersected 8.6 grams per tonne gold over 4.2 metres within a broader 18.3-metre interval grading 2.5 grams per tonne gold inside the Main Iron Carbonate Horizon.

A further step-out hole, JO-26-19, returned 2.5 grams per tonne gold over 2.0 metres within a 9.7-metre interval grading 1.2 grams per tonne gold in a 50-metre horizontal step-out northwest along the horizon from a previous intercept, alongside 4.3 grams per tonne gold over 1.6 metres in the footwall microgabbro unit. Further southeast, reconnaissance drilling located more than one kilometre from the Telbel shaft intersected approximately 69 metres of anomalous gold-bearing hydrothermal breccia, matching the style associated with historical production at the complex.

All winter assay results were received after the November 1, 2025 cutoff date and were excluded from the maiden underground resource estimate released in April 2026, which comprises 0.9 million tonnes at 4.53 grams per tonne gold for 126,000 ounces of indicated resources and 7.5 million tonnes at 4.11 grams per tonne gold for 992,000 ounces of inferred resources.

Following the completion of the winter drilling, Maple Gold has launched an expanded, fully funded 25,000-metre fall drill campaign budgeted at $9 million. The program is supported by the company’s treasury of approximately $23 million. The fall campaign focuses on accelerating near-surface resource growth, targeted resource conversion from inferred to indicated categories, and metallurgical testing.

Maple Gold expects to report a steady pipeline of exploration assay results from the fall campaign through the remainder of 2026.
