Marimaca Copper Corp. has appointed Nicole Porcile as an independent non-executive director to strengthen governance and socio-environmental oversight across its Chilean copper assets.

Porcile is a Chilean national with more than 25 years of international executive experience spanning the mining, metals, energy, and water sectors. Her expertise covers corporate governance, socio-environmental risk management, regulatory engagement, human rights, and Indigenous Peoples matters.

She is the founder and managing partner of ANAGEA, a Chilean socio-environmental advisory firm that counsels major mining companies on permitting, regulatory compliance, and community relations. Prior to establishing the advisory firm, Porcile served as vice president of corporate affairs and sustainability at Codelco, the Chilean state-owned mining company and one of the world's largest copper producers, where she sat on the senior executive team.

Her background also includes senior environmental and corporate affairs roles at Antofagasta Minerals at both group and operational levels, including work at Minera Los Pelambres. In those roles, she helped shape the group's sustainability strategy and supported the development of its major growth projects.

Porcile holds a Master of Science in Planning (Environmental Design) from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. Her appointment brings deep domestic mining and copper-sector expertise directly relevant to the Marimaca Oxide Deposit and the Pampa Medina property.

The board addition follows earlier changes earlier in the year, which included the March appointments of Zenon Wozniak as an independent non-executive director and Giancarlo Bruno Lagomarsino as independent non-executive chair.
