Marimaca Copper Corp. has intersected 216 metres at 0.96% copper and 7.2 g/t silver from 466 metres downhole at the Pampa Medina deposit in Chile’s Antofagasta Region, including a higher-grade interval of 62 metres at 2.20% copper and 21.5 g/t silver from 602 metres.

The drilling program at the central high-grade sulphide zone returned the results from hole SPRD-15. Pampa Medina is located approximately 28 kilometres east of Marimaca Copper’s flagship Marimaca Oxide Deposit. Following the consolidation of the project area and surrounding land packages in 2024, Marimaca Copper reinterpreted available geological information to develop an updated geological model. The deposit is a manto-style copper system predominantly hosted in Jurassic-Triassic sedimentary units that are overlain by andesitic volcanics and underlain by an Upper Paleozoic complex.

Step-out drilling outside the central corridor extended the mineralized sedimentary horizons by up to 300 metres to the south and west, with holes SPRD-12, SPD-13 and SPRD-17 confirming stacked mantos across a broader footprint.

The results from SPRD-15 are an excellent example of one of the defining features of Pampa Medina: extremely thick, continuously mineralized, high-grade manto horizons within the sedimentary sequence. The consistency of the high-grade mineralization across the target horizon is remarkable and drilling continues to demonstrate the strong lateral and vertical continuity of the stacked-manto system within the central zone.

Equally encouraging are the results from SPRD-12, SPD-13 and SPRD-17, which extend the mineralized sedimentary horizons beyond the central corridor and confirm the presence of stacked mantos across a broader footprint. Our drilling to the north and northwest is also providing important information on the geometry of the sedimentary basin, where the target sedimentary horizons appear to deepen beyond the practical limits of RC drilling. Diamond tails are now underway to test these areas. Pampa Medina remains open in several directions and is materially under-tested, and these results continue to strengthen our view that we are defining a large, high-grade copper-silver system.

Scout reverse circulation holes to the north and northwest reached downhole depths ranging from 540 metres to 700 metres without intersecting the target sedimentary horizon before hitting technical limitations. Marimaca Copper is conducting diamond drilling to extend these scout holes, including SWR-10, SWR-11, SWR-13, and SMR-36.
