Marimaca Copper Corp. has reported further assay results from its ongoing drilling program at the Pampa Medina deposit in Chile’s Antofagasta Region, highlighted by drill hole SPRD-15 intersecting 216 metres grading 0.96% copper and 7.2 g/t silver from 466 metres downhole.

The intercept included a higher-grade interval of 62 metres at 2.20% copper and 21.5 g/t silver from 602 metres, with a narrower 14-metre section running 3.05% copper and 26.7 g/t silver from 606 metres. Pampa Medina is located approximately 28 kilometres east of Marimaca Copper’s flagship Marimaca Oxide Deposit. Following the consolidation of the project area and surrounding land packages in 2024, the company reinterpreted available geological information to develop an updated geological model focused on sediment-hosted manto mineralization.

Step-out drilling outside the central corridor extended the mineralized sediment horizons 300 metres to the south and west. Hole SPD-13 intersected multiple stacked high-grade mantos across a broad interval of 222 metres at 0.50% copper from 194 metres, while SPRD-12 returned 56 metres at 0.95% copper and 4.2 g/t silver from 748 metres. Hole SPRD-17 intersected multiple stacked mantos across 104 metres of 0.65% copper from 522 metres. True widths are estimated at approximately 80% of reported downhole intersection lengths.

Scout reverse circulation holes collared to the north and northwest of the defined area of interest—including SWR-10, SWR-11, SWR-13, and SMR-36—did not intersect the target sedimentary horizon within initial depth limits. Marimaca Copper is advancing diamond drilling to extend these holes at depth.

The company intends to complete further reverse circulation and diamond core drilling at the Pampa Medina project over the course of 2026.
