Maritana Lifts Gold Reserves 148% to 204Koz

Maritana Minerals Limited has updated its annual Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves statement for the twelve months ended 30 June 2026, reporting a 148% increase in gold Ore Reserves to 204.1 thousand ounces at 1.65 g/t after mining depletion.
The previous Ore Reserve estimate, released in February 2026, stood at 214 thousand ounces at 1.54 g/t. The net reduction of 9.2 thousand ounces followed mining depletion at the Boorara project, where mining activity for the current phase concluded in December 2025.
The reserve growth was driven by maiden open pit Ore Reserves at Crake and Kalpini alongside an updated open pit Ore Reserve at Boorara. Total gold Mineral Resources increased by 6.3% year-on-year to 1.86 million ounces at 1.69 g/t after mining depletion.
“This year's statement reflects real growth in both the quality and the confidence of our inventory. Gold Mineral Resources have increased to 1.86Moz, up 6.3% after mining depletion, and Gold Ore Reserves have increased to 204Koz, up 148% after depletion - a step change driven by the maiden Crake and Kalpini Open Pit Ore Reserves and the updated Boorara Open Pit Ore Reserve.”

In addition to its gold inventory, Maritana reported non-gold Mineral Resources comprising 20.2 million ounces of silver, 104 kilotonnes of zinc, 293 kilotonnes of nickel, and 5,800 tonnes of cobalt.
The company also completed the divestment of the Lake Johnston Nickel Project and conducted a portfolio review reassessing the reasonable prospects of eventual economic extraction across several gold deposits, including Kalpini, Crake, Coote, Golden Ridge North, Jacques-Peyes, and Gordons Dam.
“Boorara and Burbanks remain the cornerstone assets of the portfolio, and the growth in Reserves at Boorara in particular demonstrates the value of continued drilling and mine planning work on our tenure to feed our 100% owned Black Swan Processing Hub (BSPH) infrastructure.”

Maritana is executing a 60,000-metre drilling program across the Burbanks, Coote, Crake, and Gordon's Dam projects to support further resource and reserve upgrades. The company plans to restart production activity at Boorara early in 2027 and commission the Black Swan Processing Hub using stockpiled ore in mid-2027.
