Maritana Minerals Limited has secured two key regulatory approvals and advanced non-process infrastructure workstreams for the Black Swan Processing Hub.

The Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration approved the Mining Development and Closure Proposal on 27 July 2026, allowing demolition and refurbishment works to begin on the existing processing facility. This was followed on 5 August 2026 by Department of Water and Environmental Regulation approval for the new Carbon-in-Leach circuit, pending a Clearing Permit application currently progressing through a targeted 30-day assessment.

Parallel non-process infrastructure work includes a $1.3 million borefield refurbishment and upgrade program commissioned through Flow Water Services to supply construction water. Initial assessments for the Yarri Road upgrade indicate that bitumen sealing will not be required for the 18-kilometre unsealed section leading to the site, reducing project costs.

The company established a first-stage construction camp on 3 August 2026, while procurement is underway for a permanent 60-room camp scalable to 120 rooms, which is expected to be operational by January 2027. Maritana maintains its target to achieve first gold production at the facility in the second half of calendar year 2027.
