Maritana Minerals Extends Burbanks Underground Footprint With Phase 2 Assays
Maritana Minerals Limited has completed the initial assay review from the first 11 holes of its Phase 2 resource definition drilling program at the Burbanks Gold Project, located 9 kilometres south of Coolgardie in the Western Australian Goldfields.
The latest drilling program was designed to test the extents of underground mineralisation beneath the Main Lode. Significant intersections returned from the recent assays include 0.48 metres at 25.19 g/t gold from 224.63 metres in hole 26HBBD062, alongside 0.76 metres at 9.02 g/t gold from 231.42 metres in the same hole. Additional intervals include 2.1 metres at 3.33 g/t gold from 215 metres in hole 26HBBD054, and 3.89 metres at 2.25 g/t gold from 299.11 metres in hole 26HBBD056.
The Phase 2 campaign comprised 20 diamond drill holes for approximately 6,400 metres, following an earlier Phase 1 program of 53 holes spanning 15,798 metres. Most Phase 2 holes were collared from neighbouring tenements held by Auric Mining Ltd under agreement to optimize intercept angles.
Maritana owns 100% of the Burbanks asset, which has a historical underground production record of 324,000 ounces at 22.7 g/t gold. The project holds a current JORC Mineral Resource Estimate of 6.1 million tonnes grading 2.4 g/t gold for 466,000 ounces.
“Phase 2 drilling has successfully extended the high-grade mineralised footprint at depth below the Main Lode, with consistent intercepts confirming continuity of the Burbanks shear. The ongoing success of the drilling program continues to de-risk the project and enhance development potential. Burbanks Underground is firming as a new potential source of feed for Maritana's 100% owned Black Swan Processing Hub to enhance and extend our existing LOM plan3.”

The new assay data will improve geological understanding of the host lithology, structural controls and orebody continuity, assisting in converting Inferred Resources into the Indicated category to support future Ore Reserves.
Final results from the remainder of the Phase 2 program are expected during the September Quarter 2026. A Mineral Resource Estimate update incorporating Phase 1 data is scheduled for completion in the September Quarter 2026, with Phase 2 results set to be integrated into a subsequent resource update in the December Quarter 2026. Activity across the wider district continues to see active exploration, highlighted when Minerals 260 Limited reported an intercept of 7.8 metres at 9.0 g/t gold at its Bullabulling Gold Project in August 2026.
