Maronan Metals Limited has intersected strong silver-lead mineralisation at the Maronan Underground Project in northwest Queensland, highlighted by a broad interval in hole MRN26013 returning 11.0 metres at 10.3% lead and 116g/t silver from 351.0 metres.

The latest assay results form part of an expansive 40,000-metre infill drilling campaign across the deposit, which is backed by a $22 million funding package. Field operations to date have completed more than 15,000 metres of the planned program, with the Cloncurry-based team processing core to refine the project's geological model.

"The Maronan ore-body is behaving predictably as we continue to close up the drill spacing and de-risk the project. To date over 15,000 metres of a planned 40,000 metre program have been completed and our field team in Cloncurry are doing an excellent job processing a significant amount of drill core in a timely manner."

"Results from this detailed work are further refining our geological model which will feed into a resource review and pre-feasibility study in the middle of 2027."

Hole MRN26013, drilled on the Western Horizon within the Starter Zone, also included a higher-grade core interval of 4.1 metres at 17.0% lead and 220g/t silver from 352.9 metres. Additional significant intercepts from the Western Horizon included hole MRN26009, which returned 4.6 metres at 6.5% lead and 93g/t silver from 275.9 metres alongside a 24.4-metre copper interval grading 0.37% copper from 451.0 metres.

On the Eastern Horizon, hole MRN26015 intersected 12.2 metres at 9.4% lead and 49g/t silver from 128.0 metres, while hole MRN26017 yielded 13.0 metres at 2.9% lead and 127g/t silver from 70.0 metres. Other holes in the current batch tested northern extensions of the deposit in areas of Inferred mineral resources.

Data generated from the ongoing infill drilling will directly support an updated mineral resource estimate planned for completion in Q4 FY2027. That resource review will then feed into a pre-feasibility study slated for delivery in the middle of 2027 to further de-risk and evaluate the project's commercial parameters.
